PRESS RELEASE Harmony for Humanity Foundation & Ena Kare Foundation Partner to Deliver Healthcare, Infrastructure, and Educational Support in Ghana
For Immediate Release
Accra, Ghana – May 6, 2026
Harmony for Humanity Foundation and Ena Kare Foundation have entered into a strategic humanitarian partnership aimed at delivering comprehensive, life-changing support to underserved communities across Ghana. This collaboration represents a unified commitment to addressing some of the most pressing social challenges facing vulnerable populations—particularly in rural and marginalized areas where access to essential services remains limited.
At the core of this initiative is a multi-sectoral approach that integrates healthcare delivery, infrastructure development, and educational empowerment. Through this partnership, both organizations seek not only to provide immediate relief, but also to establish sustainable systems that will continue to serve communities long after the initial intervention. This effort reflects a shared vision rooted in compassion, equity, and long-term impact.
A major component of the initiative will focus on community healthcare screenings, which will be rolled out across key locations including Ekumfi Swedru, Nungua, and Egrefe. These screenings are designed to address the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), often referred to as “silent killers,” such as hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol-related conditions. In addition to diagnostic screenings, the outreach will provide general medical consultations, preventative health education, and community wellness awareness programs. By bringing these services directly into communities, the initiative aims to promote early detection, reduce health risks, and empower individuals to take control of their health.
Beyond immediate healthcare delivery, the partnership is also focused on strengthening the foundation of rural healthcare systems through infrastructure development. Under the Integrated Community Health & Staff Accommodation Model, plans are underway to support the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound, alongside dedicated nurses’ accommodation. This dual approach addresses a critical gap in rural healthcare while facilities are often limited, the lack of proper housing for healthcare workers significantly affects staff retention and service continuity. By providing both functional healthcare spaces and dignified living conditions for medical personnel, the initiative aims to ensure consistent, reliable, and accessible care for communities.
In addition to health-focused interventions, the partnership recognizes the critical role of education in long-term community development. As part of the initiative, a back-to-school support program will be implemented to assist children and families in need. This will include the distribution of school supplies, learning materials, and other essential resources to help students begin the academic year with confidence and support. By investing in education, the initiative reinforces the belief that sustainable development must address both immediate needs and future opportunities.
This collaborative effort aligns strongly with global development priorities, particularly the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Through its integrated design, the initiative contributes to improving health outcomes, strengthening community resilience, and fostering inclusive, sustainable growth.
Harmony for Humanity Foundation and Ena Kare Foundation are extending an open call to partners, donors, and stakeholders across the public and private sectors to join this impactful mission. Opportunities for engagement include financial contributions, donations of medical supplies and equipment, volunteer support, and strategic partnerships. By working together, stakeholders can play a vital role in expanding the reach and effectiveness of this initiative, ensuring that more communities benefit from essential services and support.
Speaking on the partnership, Dr. Onika Campbell-Rowe, Founder and CEO of Harmony for Humanity Foundation, emphasized the transformational nature of the initiative, noting that it goes beyond traditional aid models to deliver sustainable solutions. She highlighted that this collaboration represents a movement to restore dignity, expand access, and create lasting impact in communities that have historically been underserved.
Speaking on behalf of Ena Kare Foundation, Queenmother Nana Adwoa Enyinfuaa III stated:
“Ena Kare Foundation remains committed to ensuring that no community is left behind in access to healthcare, education, and dignity. This partnership reflects our shared responsibility to transform lives through sustainable action.”
The program is scheduled to officially launch in August 2026, beginning with healthcare outreach activities and community engagement efforts. This marks the first phase of what is envisioned as a scalable model that can be replicated across other regions in Ghana and beyond.
Together, Harmony for Humanity Foundation and Ena Kare Foundation reaffirm their commitment to building stronger, healthier, and more empowered communities. Through partnership, compassion, and shared responsibility, they aim to bring healthcare, hope, and opportunity to those who need it most.
“Together, through partnership and compassion, we can bring healthcare, hope, and opportunity to every community.”
